Post Signature: To Anubis wishing to have a better understanding of back play

As a forward who spent thirty two years with my head up the props backside i found Jonathan Webbs', Lesson Plans for three-quarters, in association with Peter Johnson, who i played against, extremely useful.
It explains the fundamentals clearly the outside foot forward to maintain the square hip position to prevent the drift run at the defenders inside shoulder to preserve the outside space.
Take a read it is full of simple easy to understand ideas and diagrams Published by A & C Black
