If anyone would like a Australian Rugby Union Level 2 rated Canadian with 12 years experience coaching youth, men and women, a BEd. and soon to have a Masters in Library Science (how many rugby people do you know are THAT nerdy!), I'm looking for a place to re-settle.

| Dalziel RFC - Motherwell, Scotland are looking for a head coach. Head Coach/Player Coach required to spearhead their drive for promotion from Premier 3 in Season 2010/11. Dalziel RFC 1st XV were promoted to Premier 3 as Champions of National Division 1 in season 2009/10, the 2nd XV play in National Reserve League 2 and we run two other senior XV’s along with an Under 18’s side and a complete set of Junior XV’s down to P3 age group. It is a vibrant Club with ambition to achieve further success. We also have several qualified coaches, up to UKCC Level 2, able to assist the new Head Coach/Player Coach. We have some of the finest training and playing facilities in Scotland at our disposal and a young squad with an average age of 23 years old.
The successful applicant will be responsible for organising and managing training sessions, the development of players within the senior squad and the competitive performance of that squad. As such applicants must possess excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills; have a sound knowledge and understanding of rugby union in the modern era. It would be desirable, but not essential, to hold SRU accredited coaching qualification(s).
