Believe this or not but tis all true
Whilst playing for my team I was like a typical hooker hanging about on the wing
The ball started coming my way the excitement built and the tension mounted
It was a Cup game and we were losing by one score
The ball moved ever closer as our elegant backs did something amazing
Running and passing the ball came down the line as we moved ever nearer the try line
The Winger gets the ball and off loads to me
I am at full sprint down the touchline
No one between me and the try line all opposition sucked in
Its a certain try when.....
One of the spectators shoots out his arm and knocks me clean out
The Ref awards a penalty try, a massive punch up happens in the crowd and both teams spent the night getting drunk as lords together happy days....

I've heard of hard play and a pint afterwards, but this takes it a stage further surely. I don't think I'd have been having a pint with that guy on the touchline. Or maybe I would - just the two of us!
