Here is a request from one of our subscribers:

"I was wondering if you could give me any advice on where I can find a health and safety document for rugby in schools. I am currently redoing my risk assessments and wondered if there were any you could recommend. Is there a specific one for scrummaging machines ?"

I tried the Australian site, and followed the instructions to 40053, but could not find the document specifically related to safety - can you help further?

In these bureaucratic days, documents like these are invaluable.

Hi Steve

Is this what you are after?

http://qru.com.au/verve/_resources/Safety_Directives_2007.pdf

A couple of years ago Henry Edwards of the SRU came to Brisbane to take the course in order to get ideas to take back home

It is compulsory here for all coaches to take the Smart Rugby course and to be re accredited every 2 years
