Sorry to resuscitate an older post, but I have a question regarding the Penalty interpretation in the Continuum.

Looking at the Under-11/Under-12 version, there is a section under 'Kicking' which says, "...When an infringement occurs, a penalty or penalty kick will be awarded in accordance with the iRB Laws of the Game. "

After my 1st reading of the Continuum, I assumed they had NOT changed to the ELV-suggested Free Kicks, however the above tells me that there are NO "Free Kicks" as we have known them...are they are now called 'Penalty Kicks'?

Regards

Robbie

As far as I remember from last year (doing Under 13s now) all offences were penalties, there was no free kick option.
