Rugby coaching London Irish video for ground technique under pressure
This rugby coaching video clip shows a training drill from the London Irish designed to improve players' ground technique under pressure.
In this
rugby drill, the ball carrier on the ground aims to manipulate his body to present the ball towards the coloured cones positioned at the corners of the square. The player in the contact suit acts as the
tackler, slowing the release of the ball.
The ball carrier needs to be dynamic in his movements on the ground, working to present the ball between the legs of the support player.
